Based on the choppiness of my entries, it’s probably obvious that I have struggled with my eating plan. When I give in to the junk foods, I find it difficult to go back to Carnivore. And the gluten just wrecks me for days!
While watching YouTube one night, I came across a video about a lady doing “75 Dedicated”. She wanted to pick 6 tasks (like 75 Hard) that she would follow daily for 75 days. For her, the tasks were creative, physical and mental health-based. I thought, “Yes, this is what I should do for Carnivore.”
I actually did 75 Hard in the past with my sister, and saw a significant weight loss and increase in physical strength. But I treated the changes as temporary, and quickly enjoyed going to back my regular foods and inactivity. This time, I don’t want to finish the 75 days in the same way. This is a lifestyle change.
My first goal is to remain Carnivore for the entire 75 days. This would be my longest stint on Carnivore yet. I will allow sugar-free soda and electrolytes if they don’t trigger my desire for cheat meals. A few other things I allowed was roasted whole garlic and 1 tbsp of herb sauce. In my eyes, these are extremely clean whole, natural, unprocessed ingredients. I’m not going to freak out about that.
For these 75 days, I’m not going to log every meal or every day. However, I will update my Weight logs, and I’ll create a weekly log with my insights so far.
I’m grateful for those of you find inspiration in these posts. I pray God leads you to what helps you and heals you. God bless you.
