Ugh, the cheating day definitely had me waking up like I was hungover. I slept so much, felt so sluggish. It was just a lot of effort to get through the day until dinner. Brain fog and lack of motivation to do work. Because I want to accomplish more in life, the effects of cheating to that level? They aren’t fun.
Meal 1 – Leftover 1 pound Smoked Chicken + 2 tbsp hot sauce
Meal 2 – Breakfast Burgers (2 burgers 1/3lb each + 2 slices cheese + 2 eggs + 2 tbsp bacon bits)
Snack – Korean Jerky + Chocolate Keto Yogurt (1 cup Greek yogurt + 2 tbsp cocoa nibs + 1 tbsp cocoa powder + 1 tbsp SF liquid sweetener)
Cravings: Today was fine, except I wanted to try this dessert later on in the evening.
Energy: Energy was really low and terrible due to the massive amount of gluten and sugar I ate yesterday. Very different from how I feel on days I just eat Carnivore.
The reminder of the gift of grace from this Easter weekend has me living with thanksgiving for even today. I’m so blessed that God cared enough about you and me that He sent Jesus to be the ultimate Lamb of Atonement. That we wouldn’t have to continue year after year in a sort of limbo of separation because of our sin, but that Jesus came to take our sin, to die in our place, so that we might live.
