Anyone who grew up eating at Denny’s will likely understand this title. Denny’s was my family’s favorite restaurant in my teens, and then my favorite during my dancing/club days in my twenties. Moons Over My Hammy breakfast sandwich was one of my favorites. All this to say…..I was craving ham.
Meal 1 – 12 oz ham steak + 4 scrambled eggs + McDonald’s iced black coffee w/ sugar-free flavoring
Snack – 2 servings meat sticks
Meal 2 – Alfredo Chicken 1 pound w/ 1.5 oz Parmesan cheese (see recipe for all ingredients)
Cravings: Ham was calling my name! When I was shopping at Costco the last 2 times, I saw the ham, but kept putting off the purchase. This morning after an errand, the ham was calling my name. I also forgot to buy eggs yesterday, so I picked up 5 dozen eggs.
Energy: Last night, I passed out so quick! Slept pretty well, and woke up a bit before my alarm clock.
This verse is inspiring me right now:
- Mark 11:22-24 – And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
